Motion Capture Systems and Their Use in Educational Research: Insights from a Systematic Literature Review

Motion capture is gaining significance in educational research. Different motion systems (MCSs) are used research for different purposes and ways, which creates a diversity that difficult to monitor. The aim of this article provide an overview MCSs their uses addressing primary secondary school education. We conducted systematic review focusing on the types concrete being used, looking at how they use, aims questions under investigation, subjects/topics addressed studies, locations/places potential benefits using perceived by researchers, underlying theories movement. Based n = 20 studies education identified our database search, we found these mainly optical MCSs.
